Kim In-woo lost his mother at the age of 11 and became an orphan overnight. He debuted in the film ‘Dream’ directed by Japanese master Akira Kurosawa and established himself as an actor for 20 years, starting with minor roles in Japan. He worked under the name Tamura Hiroto in Japan.

He happened to see the Korean movies ‘Home’ and ‘Failan’ and returned to his home country, remembering his mother who missed Korea when she was alive. He has been working as an actor in Korea for 15 years now.

Kim In-woo said, “My mother said she wanted to go to Korea when she was alive, but she never went. “She worked all day for her child,” she said, shedding tears.

On this day, Kim In-woo met baseball player Jeong Geun-woo. Jeong Geun-woo said, “I saved my brother’s contact information, but (his profile photo) appears on Messenger. I clicked on it and it turned out to be all my photos. “I capture it again and save it,” he said with a laugh.

Regarding his relationship with Kim In-woo, Jeong Geun-woo said, “My brother came from Okinawa to get my autograph for the first time. After practice during the day, I was about to get on the bus and he said, ‘Please sign my autograph in a moment.’ “I even took a picture,” he said.

Kim In-woo said, “At that time, I went to Okinawa without any intention. “It was to see Geun-woo.” Jeong Geun-woo said, “I didn’t know that my brother was an actor, so I gave him his contact information. “When I found out about him, I was surprised to see that he was an incredibly good actor.”

Kim In-woo said, “I originally liked baseball in Japan as well. But I gave up because I couldn’t watch Japanese baseball when I came to Korea. Then, during the Beijing Olympics, I saw an athlete and it was Jeong Geun-woo. He heard that Jeong Geun-woo was short at the time, so he almost didn’t make it to the pros. But Jeong Geun-woo changed that. “I also felt like I wanted to improve myself and move forward to that extent,” he said, revealing the story of how he became a fan of Jeong Geun-woo.

That led to a relationship, and we have been in a relationship as brother and sister for 6 years.

Kim In-woo is constantly taking on challenges to get Korean roles, including auditioning. He said, “Anyway, I am Korean and I will live in Korea for the rest of my life, so I have to play the role of a Korean.”

Kim In-woo said, “Koreans in Japan are also Korean. He expressed his wish to settle down in Korea.”
