[OSEN=Reporter Jang Woo-young] JTBC’s ‘Welcome to Samdali’ released the character and couple poster of Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-sun, who met again in Samdali.

JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Welcome to Samdali’ (written by Kwon Hye-joo, directed by Cha Young-hoon, produced by MI, SLL) is about a dragon born in a stream at the foot of Hallasan Mountain, and ‘Yongpil’ and his hometown, who cherished the stream after ‘Samdal’ lost everything and fell. It is a romance between pure partners who return to the embrace, catch their breath, and find love. Today (21st), the character posters of Cho Yong-pil (Ji Chang-wook) and Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye-sun), who are full of warm emotions, were released, heating up the expectations of prospective viewers waiting for the first broadcast.

First, Yongpil is seen with a smile as warm as sunlight. When Samdal leaves the stream and dreams of a dragon flying in the sky, Yongpil, whose dream was to protect the stream, is still protecting Jeju, his stream. As full of warmth as his smile, he takes good care of the local elders, and as is a specialty of Jeju, he attends every village festival and brightens the mood by passionately singing the songs of the king of singers, Cho Yong-pil. He is so kind, and now he wants to become a companion for Samdal, who returned from Seoul after being hurt. This is why the copy “Welcome back to me” feels particularly warm.

Samdal, who was working as a top photographer ‘Cho Eun-hye’ in Seoul, gets caught up in an unexpected incident and falls headlong, and returns to Gaecheon, where she had wanted to leave so much. Contrary to the idea that Samdal would be uncomfortable with the presence of Yongpil, who had been her best friend since birth and now her ex-boyfriend, and the gaze of the people of Samdal who saw Samdal, who was caught up in an incident and made an unwanted comeback, Samdal is a person with a human touch. I plan to heal my wounds and build strength to become stronger. She wants to join the journey to see what kind of warmth Samdal will embrace when she returns to Yongpil and Gaecheon.

Above all, as Samdal returns to Gaecheon, the history of Yongpil and Samdal’s relationship, which had been paused for a while, will become an ongoing one. In the couple poster released together, in front of each other’s house, “It’s been a long time.” The bright smiles of the two people facing each other, saying, “The Dorunja I loved” hint at this. They were born on the same day, 5 minutes apart, and were called the official Samdali partners by ‘Grandmother Samshin.’ They spent more days together than without each other in their lives. And I’ve had deep love, and I’ve also had tear-stained breakups. The two people, who met again after 8 years of losing contact, have a complex relationship that is difficult to define in one word. There is great anticipation in the first broadcast, which is not far away, as to how Yongpil and Samdal will unravel this complicated thread, and what new history of pairing will be written.

In ‘Welcome to Samdali’, there is only an ordinary ‘us’ with nothing special, but ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ and ‘People of the Meteorological Administration: The Cruel History of Office Love’ create special warm emotions and impressions through our human-scented stories. It is attracting attention as the first collaboration between director Cha Young-hoon and writer Kwon Hye-joo of ‘Confession Couple’ and ‘Hi Bye, Mama!’. It will be broadcast for the first time on JTBC at 10:30 pm on Saturday, December 2nd, following the popular ‘Strong Woman Gangnam Soon’. /elnino8919@osen.co.kr
