‘Fast Lives’ Will Teo Yoo receive the British Academy trophy? Candidate for Best Actor

[OSEN=Reporter Sun Mi-kyung] Actor Teo Yoo of the movie ‘Fast Lives’ (directed by Celine Song) was nominated for the Best Actor Award at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

On the 18th (local time), the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced the candidates for the 76th British Film Academy Awards, which will be held on February 19th.

Tae-oh Yoo was nominated for the Best Male Leading Actor category at this awards ceremony for ‘Fast Lives.’ Teo Yoo was nominated alongside Coleman Domingo for ‘Rustin’, Cillian Murphy for ‘Oppenheimer’, Barry Keoghan for ‘Saltburn’, Paul Giamatti for ‘Barton Academy’, and Bradley Cooper for ‘Maestro’.

Previously, actress Yoon Yeo-jeong won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 2021 movie ‘Minari’.

In addition, ‘Fast Lives’ was nominated in three categories, including Best Male Lead Actor, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Foreign Language Film.

‘Fast Lives’ is a work that depicts the fateful two days of a man and a woman who reunite in New York 20 years after being separated as children. This work by Korean-Canadian director Celine Song was honored with the Best Picture award at the 58th National Association of Film Critics Awards.
