On this day, Cho Yeo-hwa couldn’t forget the words of an old woman in a slum who said she lost her granddaughter, and she ended up going out in the middle of the night.

However, when Jo Yeo-hwa learned that children, including the grandmother’s granddaughter, frequently disappeared from the slums, she had doubts.

Man-sik (Woo Kang-min), a member of Kang Pil-jik’s (Cho Jae-yoon) gang who came to the slums to look for runaway children, encountered Jo Yeo-hwa again. At that moment, the child who ran away was discovered by the gang.

Jo Yeo-hwa, who saw this, fought with them. At that moment, her grandmother came out looking for her granddaughter, and Man-sik took her grandmother hostage.

Jo Yeo-hwa suggested taking herself hostage instead of her grandmother. She was upset and said, “I will gladly let you be caught,”but Man-sik said, “Give me the child.”

At that moment, a mysterious person (Lee Jong-won) appeared and helped Jo Yeo-hwa. The man with his face covered threw a stone at Man-sik and rushed at him, and Jo Yeo-hwa, who saw this, asked in bewilderment, “What is that?”
