Maserati, an Italian high-performance luxury car, announced on the 8th (local time) that it will participate in Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Season 10 of the Formula E World Championship opens on Saturday, January 13 with the Mexico City E-Prix.

Maserati has continued to participate in Formula E, the most innovative electric vehicle competition on the international motorsports stage. In particular, Maserati is the first and only Italian luxury car brand to participate in the Formula E Championship.

At the end of September last year, Maserati MSG Racing announced its new driver lineup for the 2024 season. Maserati MSG Racing is preparing for a new challenge for the Formula E Single-Seater World Championship with the addition of race winner Maximilian Günther and this year’s only rookie, Jehan Daruvala, to the team.

Last season, Maserati MSG Racing consistently competed in the top 10, finishing 6th in the championship with three podiums and a race win for Max Guenther. German driver Max Günther gave fans several moments of glory, including first place in Jakarta and third place in Rome, Maserati’s home race, and spent the past year filled with hopeful moments.

For Maserati, 2024 is expected to be a year of leap forward for new competitive goals and technological innovation. The return to the track is an important historical moment that not only revives Maserati’s traditional racing pedigree, but also announces the launch of Maserati’s pure electric vehicle line, Folgore. Maserati plans to introduce purely electrified versions of all models by 2025.

Season 10 of the Formula E Championship is set to be the longest race to date, with 17 races, the most ever. In particular, this year’s season includes new Asian venues Tokyo and Shanghai, and the move from Rome, which hosts Italy’s only race, to the Misano Adriatico Circuit, serving as the ‘home stadium’ for Trident fans from the Motor Valley and beyond.
