‘Street Dance Girls Fighter 2’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Sgirlpa 2’) has returned globally.

On the 21st, at the Sangam Stanford Hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Mnet ‘Street Dance Girls Fighter 2’ A production presentation was held. Attending the event on this day were PD Hwang Seong-ho, producer Jeong Kyeong-wook, 1 Million’s leader Lia Kim, Bebe’s leader Bada, Hook’s leader Aiki, Jam Republic’s leader Kirsten, La Chika’s leader Gabi, and Mannequin’s leader Funky Why.

This time, ‘Sgirlpa 2’ will not stop at the Korean stage, but will also feature teenage dancers active on the global stage. ‘Sgirlpa 1’, which aired in 2021, ended successfully, ranking first in non-drama TV popularity thanks to the popularity of ‘Suppa’. At that time ‘Sgirlpa 1’ Jonine, the leader of the winner Turns team, expressed his aspirations after winning the competition, saying, “I will show you a new and more challenging side of me, so please look forward to it.”

On this day, PD Hwang Seong-ho explained the difference of this season, saying, “The biggest difference is that the participating crews have become global.” He continued, “Last season, we only recruited crew members, but this time we also recruited individuals. He added, “The age range has expanded from high school to middle school.” Regarding the reason for expanding beyond Korea to the global stage, he said, “I think dance is the most wonderful way to communicate even when there is no language. “K-pop is also popular around the world, and after seeing young people dancing to K-pop, I thought about what it would be like to meet a Korean dancer,” he said.

The master corps includes 1 Million (Leah Kim, Lee Yu-jeong, Harimu), Bebe (Bada, Rusher, Tatter), Hook (Aiki, Seong Ji-yeon, Odd), Jam Republic (Kirsten, Latrice, Audrey), and Rachika (Gabi). ·Rian·Shimizu) and Mannequin (Funky Y·Redrick·Wax·Yoonji) will be present.

PD Hwang also talked about recruiting the Master Corps. He said, “First of all, Jam Republic is a very famous crew and a global representative. Aiki can provide professional wit and wit, and Bada is trending right now. In fact, the children really enjoyed meeting Bada. Funky Why is an icon of street dance, and Lia Kim is ‘One Million’, so you can’t miss them. Gabi explained, “You did a really good job in ‘Sgirl Party 1′.”

Lachika’s Gabi said, “I also enjoyed watching ‘Suppa 2’, so being able to work with season 1 members seems like a very new picture. It’s fun to see new friends emerge. “It was a refreshing feeling to see my friends getting better and better,” he said. “In terms of skills, the concentration of the dance will not be that of a teenager, but the vibe of someone who has been dancing for a long time.”

Lia Kim said, “‘Will I be able to go out and play a good role as a master?’ I also thought about it. There was a heavy feeling that I had to help my children grow. “Right now, I’m participating with the mindset to scrape together everything I can and give it to my friends,” he said.

At the end of the production presentation, PD Hwang said, “We had a lot of cast meetings while preparing for the program. A common story shared by many of my friends was that they started dancing after watching ‘S Girl Pa 1’. Looking at it, he felt a sense of responsibility while making the program, but he also felt a sense of pride, so he put even more effort into making it, he said.

Mnet ‘Street Dance Girls Fighter 2’ will premiere at 10 PM on the 21st.
