U.S. iHeart Radio Music Awards establishes new K-pop category… BTS, ATEEZ, New Jeans candidates

According to this year’s award candidate list announced by the ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards 2024’ on the 18th (local time), BTS J-Hope, V, and Jungkook won ‘Best Music Video’., was named in ‘Favorite On Screen’ and ‘Favorite Debut Album’.

BTS’ fandom Army and ATEEZ’s official fandom ‘ATINY’ were nominated in the ‘Best Fan Army’ category. This is the 7th year that BTS has been nominated in this category.

A new K-pop category was created at this year’s ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards’. Seventeen, New Jeans, Jungkook, Ateez, and Cykers were listed in the newly established K-pop category.

The ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards’ is a music awards ceremony hosted by American online radio broadcaster iHeartRadio since 2014, and awards are given to the artists and songs most played on iHeartRadio stations and applications during the year. This year’s awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles, USA on April 1.
