Actress Ha Yeon-joo said this at the production presentation for KBS 2TV’s new daily drama ‘Without Blood and Tears’, which was held online on the morning of the 22nd. Attending this event were director Kim Shin-il, actors Lee So-yeon, Jeong Chan, Oh Chang-seok, Jang Se-hyun, and Park Shin-woo.

‘Without Blood or Tears’ tells the tragic story of sisters Lee Hye-won (Lee So-yeon) and Bae Do-eun (Ha Yeon-joo), who were separated when their parents divorced when they were children, but meet as daughters-in-law and mother-in-law as adults.

Ha Yeon-joo plays the role of Bae Do-eun, the younger sister of Lee Hye-won, who follows her mother as a child and experiences a series of extreme poverty, loneliness, and misfortune, and has an undeniable charm.

On this day, Ha Yeon-joo said about her return to the small screen after 5 years since the KBS2 daily drama ‘Left-Handed Wife’, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been active. “She had several personal stories along the way,” he said.

He continued, “So, I wanted to show a more in-depth and colorful side compared to the past, so I prepared a lot. “It’s a villain, but there are some interesting elements to it,” he explained.

He added, “It’s vicious, but it’s also cute in some ways. I think people who see it will sympathize with him and view him differently from the stereotypical villain. “I chose it because I thought it would have existing meaning,” he added.
