Uhm Jung-hwa makes a big screen comeback with ‘Beautiful Girlfriend’

Actress Uhm Jung-hwa’s big-screen comeback movie ‘Beautiful Girlfriend’ will hold a press/distribution preview this afternoon. Director Lee Seung-jun and actors Uhm Jeong-hwa, Song Sae-byeok, Bang Min-ah, Son Byeong-ho, Park Ho-san, and Kim Jae-hwa will attend and tell stories about the work.

‘Fancy Girl’ is a crime entertainment film in which Ji-hye (Uhm Jung-hwa), a professional strategist with brilliant skills, gets caught up in an unintended(?) incident while planning her final big move. Expectations are high as Uhm Jung-hwa of ‘Okay Madam’, ‘Miss Wife’, and ‘Dancing Queen’ and director Lee Seung-jun of ‘Spy’, which made 3.5 million viewers laugh, are together.

A ‘mother and daughter hero’ like no other in the world appears

JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Strong Woman Gangnam Soon’ will hold a production presentation on the afternoon of the 5th. Director Kim Jeong-sik and actors Lee Yu-mi, Kim Jeong-eun, Kim Hae-sook, and Byun Woo-seok will attend this day.

‘Strong Woman Gangnam-soon’, which will be aired for the first time on the 7th, is a comical crime showdown in which a mother and daughter of three generations, who are naturally gifted with amazing strength, uncover the true nature of a new drug crime taking place around Gangnam.

The ‘Strong Woman’ series, which returns with an expanded worldview six years after ‘Strong Woman Do Bong-soon’, which opened a new horizon for ‘K-female hero dramas’, is a highly anticipated work that has garnered a lot of attention from the production stage. Writer Baek Mi-kyung, who created the first female hero in a Korean drama, and director Kim Jeong-sik of ‘Drinker City Women’ teamed up. The extraordinary synergy shown by the cast, including Lee Yu-mi, Kim Jong-eun, and Kim Hae-sook, as well as Ong Seong-woo, Byun Woo-seok, and Lee Seung-jun, who met as three ‘invincible’ mothers and daughters nowhere in the world, also stimulates anticipation.

A program featuring the last images of the Earth recorded through music is unveiled. Producers Choi Jeong-hoon, Yoon Do-hyun, Monica, Lip J, Danny Koo, Kim Shin-rok, Kim Geon-woo, and Koo Min-jeong will grace the press conference for KBS’ 50th anniversary project ‘Black Box on Earth’ held this afternoon.

‘Black Box on the Earth’, a special project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of KBS Corporation, is Korea’s first climate crisis archive concert in which artists record the last images of the Earth through music against the backdrop of six regions at home and abroad that are being destroyed by climate change.

In particular, ‘Black Box on Earth’ featured many of Korea’s leading artists, including Choi Jeong-hoon, YB, Kim Yuna, Monica, Lip J, Le Seraphim, Jeong Jae-hyung, Danny Goo, Hoshi, Kim Shin-rok, Park Byeong-eun, and Kim Geon-woo. Seven teams of artists face each other in six regions at home and abroad facing a crisis due to climate change, and the stories recorded through music deliver deep emotion and comfort.

The online press conference for SBS’s new entertainment program ‘Big Survival – Meokjjippa’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Mukjjippa’) will also be held in the presence of Seo Jang-hoon, Park Na-rae, Shindong, Lee Guk-ju, Ra Seon-wook, Satire, Lee Ho-cheol, Mirage, Lee Kyu-ho and Choi Jun-seok.

‘Mukchippa’, which will be released as a pilot in a total of 6 parts, is a game variety played by those who shout, ‘My body can become a trend, too.’ The 10 contestants are divided into teams of 5 to 5 and carry out missions. You should maintain your weight without gaining or losing it. The final winner becomes an advertising model.

Broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon, comedians Park Na-rae, Lee Guk-ju, Mirage, Ra Seon-wook, YouTuber Satire, group ‘Super Junior’ Shindong, actors Lee Kyu-ho and Lee Ho-cheol, and former baseball player Choi Jun-seok are competing.
