A story about the cruel fate of a woman who became a spy. It is a well-made historical drama on tvN with director Cho Nam-guk, who was recognized for his solid directing skills in ‘Model Detective’ and ‘The Man Who Became King’, based on the subject of ‘Sejak’, a spy who hides his identity and secretly finds out secrets or situations and provides information. It is an ambitious work that opens the door to tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama in 2024, written by writer Kim Seon-deok, who opened the door to Shinhwa.

Among these, ‘The Bewitched’ is raising expectations as the most anticipated drama in Gapjinnyeon, which will continue its unrivaled reputation as a tvN fiction historical drama. ‘The Man Who Became King’: Writer Kim Seon-deok’s solid script, director Jo Nam-guk’s directing ability, and the actors’ flawless acting skills combine perfectly to herald the birth of a new work.

Previously, ‘Shurup’, starring Kim Hye-soo, which depicts the turbulent royal struggle during the middle of the war as they enter the fierce royal education war for troublemaker princes, attracted attention by recording the highest viewership rating of 16.9% (Nielsen nationwide standard) at the time of airing. In particular, Kim Hye-soo played the role of Im Hwa-ryeong, the head of the internal affairs department, and received attention for her passionate performance that encompassed not only the dignity of a middle-aged woman, but also the aspects of a real-life mother who enjoyed variety every day thanks to her thought-provoking princes. Accordingly, Jo Jung-seok and Shin Se-kyung will take over the baton, raising expectations by predicting that they will lead the melodrama narrative as well as the crazy chemistry between the deluded king and Sejak, who is aiming for his heart.
