The title of singer IU’s pre-released song has been changed.

EDAM Entertainment said in an official press release on January 19, “IU’s pre-released song ‘Love wins’ scheduled to be released at 6 PM on the 24th. It was announced that the title will be changed to ‘Love wins all’.

Regarding the reason for the change, “We accept concerns that the title of this song will obscure the important message, and we want to further respect and support everyone who loves and lives in various ways.”If there is a word that is most opposed to the message contained in the song to be released, it would be ‘hatred.’ This was also mentioned in detail in the track intro released on the 18th. “I sincerely hope that all love will win in a world without hate, and that the meaning of this song will be conveyed without hurting anyone,” he explained.

Previously, some sexual minorities expressed concern that the meaning of the slogan may be faded, saying ‘Love Wins’ is an idiom that has been used to promote the human rights of sexual minorities.

The following is EDAM Entertainment’s full statement.
