‘Doctor Slump’ Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye have a pleasant and exciting reunion.

JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Doctor Slump’ (directed by Oh Hyeon-jong, written by Baek Seon-woo, produced by SLL and Hijieum Studio), which will be aired for the first time on January 27, will feature Yeo Jung-woo (played by Park Hyeong-sik) and Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) meeting again after 14 years on the 19th. A trailer containing the appearance of (B) has been released. The story of the two people after their reunion, which is quite different from ‘those days’, attracts attention.

‘Doctor Slump’ is a romantic comedy depicting the cardiopulmonary resuscitation of Yeo Yeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul, who hit the brakes after only running on an upward curve in life. The process of two ‘disliked’ rivals reuniting in a dark time of life and becoming each other’s light brings laughter, excitement, empathy, and comfort.

Above all, actors who completed the ‘healing combination’ such as Park Hyeong-sik, Park Shin-hye, Yoon Park, and Kong Seong-ha, and director Oh Hyeon-jong, who directed ‘The Man in Memory’ and ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo’, as well as ‘Living Together’ and ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?’ Expectations are rising due to the meeting with author Baek Seon-woo.

In the preview video released about a week before the first broadcast, Nam Ha-neul, who made quite a name for himself as a genius in ‘2009, Busan’, transfers to Seoul and begins an unusual relationship with Yeo Jeong-woo. And against Nam Ha-neul, a transfer student who is rumored to be “the one who got a perfect score on the mock exam with Jeong-woo this time,” Yeo Jeong-woo’s cute competitive spirit, which goes beyond venom and activates madness(?) to keep the top spot in the school, brings smiles.

Even as time goes by, Yeo Yeong-woo still gets annoyed at Nam Ha-neul’s name, saying, “Why is he talking about her here?” But perhaps it was a sign of a reunion, Yeo Yeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul are surprised to see each other appear before their eyes at a completely unexpected moment. While the two people who met each other after 14 years are curious about whether it was a ‘bad relationship’ or a ‘fate’, the fact that they are now shabby compared to the brilliant ‘those days’ makes them curious about their respective stories.

Burnout, depression, medical accidents, and slumps led to the worst time not only in my career as a doctor but also in my life. However, after that, the two share the same wounds and pain and become real ‘friends’ for the first time. “I had a friend from my school days,” added on the screen where the present and past of two people who build new memories only after becoming adults intersect. Nam Ha-neul’s narration, “A friend from back then appeared to me,” somehow evokes a fresh sense of excitement.

Viewers who saw the preview video posted on various SNS and online communities, “Jungwoo, I feel healed just by looking at the sky.” “Jungwoo, I wish I had a friend with the same sky.” “Will their relationship end as just friends?” “From friends to lovers? “I’m more excited and more curious” “I’m looking forward to stories from their school days and after their reunion” “I wonder if Jungwoo and Haneul will be able to go back to being doctors again” “One week until the first broadcast! Expectations poured out with responses such as “This is why I look forward to the weekend even more.”

‘Doctor Slump’ will be aired for the first time at 10:30 pm on the 27th.
